Danish Klimaforum has called for international protest in support of the app. 1.000 innocent demonstrators' demands for damages during the climate summit in Copenhagen 2009.
The way the police have worked still seems to astonish. From the ongoing trail it has emerged that the Danish Police established collaboration with several foreign police forces. Though non of the arrested COP15-demonstrators has been accused of anything, the Danish Minister for Justice has acknowledged that Danish Police passed on information on arrested COP15-demonstrators to police forces in other countries.
The Minister has explained that ”it was done to prevent future unrest”. At least one foreign police authority has contacted a demonstrator after his homecoming.
Many of the people that participated in Copenhagen’s COP15-activities came from countries without adequate legal rights and due process. The Danish Minister has now officially been asked to explain how many of the detained participants the Danish police passed information on and the countries involved.
The trail continues Monday 16 Aug.
